Rooms on the west side overlook a large enclosed tropical garden containing several spas, waterfalls and pools, including a swim-up bar for those wanting to escape the sun, the hotel also has one of the few indoor pools along the Strip.
The hotel is the closest to Las Vegas International Airport, and east facing rooms have a fine view over the runways and terminal buildings, though double glazing ensures a quiet night's sleep.
One of a trio of hotels along Las Vegas Boulevard that have (or had) been open for over 50 years ( Riviera and Flamingo are the others), Tropicana is still quite popular despite being surrounded by several larger and more modern resorts, at the south end of the Strip.
